See, his problem is he goes to SO many races per year that he's become quite jaded. He once wrote he thought perhaps the show ought to wrap up in a couple of hours, tops, in advocating 8 car fields and 1,000 foot strip lengths.

He's like a lot of baseball writers who keep clamoring for shorter games. They just want to head home earlier.

I don't get to NEARLY as many races as I'd like. When I do go, I want the whole endhilada. Not a truncated version some ink stained wretch would like to see so he can hit the bars sooner.

I wrote him my opinion. He wasn't impressed.
