I can understand seeing the cars move first, then the sound, but not the other way around. And I don't recall this being a problem in 2016, either. It's annoying as hell to me.

That means you should see them move first, then hear them, not the other way around. Now you hear them first, then you see them move.

It seems even worse today. You could hear the TF engines roar before the amber lights had even lit.
