Unautherized phone charges (1 Viewer)

What out for this scam.I was recently going through my moms bills etc. and found a few months of charges on her phone bill she though was for the internet etc.Also it was billed out/printed on the back of her bill ,kind of hidden.
I killed a hour or so hopefully getting it all corrected-but if you have someone older to look out for,you might want to check for this.Phone bill ?cramming? spikes again - - MSNBC.com

I don't know but, I have to wonder if my phone has been hacked like they hack computers? Occasionally I'll be going through my list of saved numbers and after "Z" there'll be one or two saved in which the name will be a three digit number that I DIDN'T save! I wonder if they hope you'll dial it to see where it goes, then end up with one of those horrible bills I've heard of because the call went to some weird little corrupt country and you get a charge of hundreds or thousands of dollars?
