Rumor Mill, Angelle testing a fuel car? (2 Viewers)

When Angelle Sampey sat in Antron Brown's Top Fuel dragster in Topeka, she was clear to point out that nothing was in place and people shouldn't read into it any more than just a warm-up. But, then again, who warms up a nitro car seven times for the fun of it? World comes to us from someone in Brainerd, the multi-time Pro Stock Bike champion is testing Jasmine Salinas' A/Fuel Dragster. Could this be related to the major announcement Antron has scheduled for Thursday?

Cant wait for Antrons big announcement on Thursday!

ive always like her,but she needs to get her head right before she races anything. i would like to see her in a a/f car.its sad seeing her past out trophies.

Those PSM people sticking together!

Not the announcement I was expecting, but good for them. I've briefly spoken to Angelle over the years at several different National events and she was always pleasant. Good for her.

Glad she will be back driving something. Will be interesting to see if she does the entire year in A/fuel or jumps up sooner

Yep nothing in place....

I agree that she seems like an odd choice for this "Accelerate" program. Not much info about it so far, but I'd think the idea would be to get younger people involved at the higher levels of the sport. But note she has the Mission Foods shirt on in the video, so maybe it is correct that they will be providing the funding for the A/Fuel effort.

I am impressed by Angelle getting this license in just a day or two. Can't be easy to jump in the seat of an "Alcohol" dragster and learn how to drive it in that short of a period of time.

Now, if she will just work on her reaction times/red-light issues.......
