ORBIT ESPN

Most drag racing fans just watch the edited highlights coverage of NHRA drag racing on Channel Five British TV, because they don’t know about www.orbit.net and it’s sports channel Orbit ESPN.

Orbit ESPN broadcasts two hours of qualifying and three hours of eliminations from each NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Event, it also broadcasts one hour of qualifying and eliminations from the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series featuring TAD & TAFC. “Inside Drag Racing” is a 30 minute programme featuring Pro-Mods, IHRA and other drag racing classes which is broadcast weekly.

This system is not cheap, but if you're a avid drag racing fan like myself then consider buying the system. The 90cm Channel Master Dish including brackets, cable, labour, etc cost $890. The Orbit Satellite Receiver including six months subscription to the Mega Package cost $430.

You can use a smaller satellite dish the closer you live near London, just be sure to get an excellent satellite dealer/installer. Ask for a survey on your property to make sure you get a clear line of sight between the satellite dish and the Atlantic Bird 2 Satellite.

The satellite details are:

Atlantic Bird 2 AB2 @ 8 West

Frequency 10973 MHz _ Horizontal, FEC ¾, 27500 Sym.R.
