Very far from a joke. Raceway Park's hands are tied on this. Township Fire Marshall and State PD have very strong and broad powers in E-Town.

Another case of government sticking their greedy hands in you pocket. Guess they just dont collect enough in motel taxes, gas taxes, sales taxes, restaurant taxes, etc.

I just heard they just passed a deal that says any truck in the pro pits with 17 or more wheels will have a tire usage surcharge as well.

Wacky noise restrictions? No different than Pomona and many other tracks.

Everyone said the same thing 5 years ago.

IMO, the only thing that will close ETown is a change in ownership, in other words, a huge cash offer to buy the present owners out -or- the heirs of the current owners just won't want to deal with the track and the hassles of running it.

A lot of those houses across the tracks in La Vern must have been built in the 40s.
