· The tracks along with the various associations are going to have a BBQ on July 4th. The associations and track are providing hamburgers and hot dogs. Please bring a pot luck dish to share with the group.
The speedway is having a professional Fireworks display and concert that is open to the public. Tickets for the fireworks display can be purchased from the track by going to the tower. We may be able to see most of the fireworks from our pit side for FREE. Spectators may not be able to get in after the Saturday morning registration period is over because of this. Also, we may not be able to leave the pits, as they are changing the traffic configurations around for people to enter and exit for the fireworks display.

· Ron Miller of West Coast Supercops in Torrance California put up $100 cash to the first SCEDA racer who cut a perfect light during eliminations for our June races. Dick Krieger claimed the prize on June 6th, but no one did it on Sunday so the $100 is still available to the first racer in eliminations to run a perfect light (E and No E). If you see Ron in the pits, please make sure to tell him thank you for coming up with and paying this award.
· Chris Lee from Cal Automotive in Phelan, CA will award to the first person that goes red in eliminations in E and No E $50 each day. Thanks Chris and Cal Automotive for this creative award!
