I'd guess something lower than the Mason Dixon line if anything. I think they are done buying for the time being though.

IHRA sanctioned tracks have grown. IHRA doesn't need to own all of them.

Probably won't happen. As of 2021, there were at least 513 shareholders that collectively owned New England Dragway. They turned down $12.5 million then.

I realized that after I posted. I remember that back when NED switched to NHRA, they had to get the board of governors to approve the changes NHRA wanted them to make to host a national event.

I worked with a guy that stake in NED back in the 90's. He came south to work in the winter(CLS).

With Etown and Maple Grove gone, NED is only track above the Mason Dixon line that's on the east coast I think. A lot of people live in this area that won't go to NED. Nothing against NED.

I made that tow in 2021 to run SST at the National. First and only NHRA national I've ever ran. No desire to return to that track or another NHRA national.

Cost me $1100 to go -.011 red first round. Rolled in the gate at 2 or 3 AM Friday Morning and was back on the road by Noon Saturday.

Well that sounds like a them problem - they are missing out. I have grown up at New England Dragway - it has my heart, and my heart beats wildly for it!

I'm only basing that on the distances between the two tracks. I don't think anybody has an issue with VMP. I like it.

that's pretty funny, but extremely accurate. the same applies to BIR.

VMP is in the final stages leading up to closing and then IHRA will own it.

Oh, OK. That makes sense. I'm basically in the middle as it relates to VMP and Budds Creek (MIR). VMP as apparently you know, has major interstate access from 95/85/Route 1. That's me going south.

For Budds creek, for me would be going north, well more northeast. Outside of 301, a lot of 2 lane roads with a few 4 lane. Actually, as the crow flies MIR is closer to me than VMP.

Edgewater in Cincinnati is for sale. If the IHRA bought it and gave it the Milan treatment it would be a great home track for them since it’s about 20 minutes from their headquarters. Of course, I’m prejudiced because its in my backyard and I have been going there for 65 years

Sad, with ihra buying tracks, that they couldn't make it work.
Same in my backyard, seems like Daryll passed on Atco as well. Can't say I blame him, some a-hole sold the track to another a-hole for a lot of money. After the selling a-hole stripped it to nothing.

 FLC
