Many changes have taken place within Drag Racing since the conclusion of the 2006/2007 season, a new Television package and bigger fields than ever seen before in the wide and exciting variety of Drag Racing categories on hand - accentuated by those ground shaking, earth quaking 500kmh Nitro Burning Top Fuel Dragsters.

A full compliment of the fastest accelerating cars on the planet - TOP FUEL - will certainly excite and thrill in motorsport's ultimate thunder and lightning showcase.
In fact 9 Nitromethane beasts will undertake an awesome armwrestle today to squish into 8 qualifying spots for race day tomorrow!
Australian Champion Phil Read will have his hands full with Martin Stamatis, Phil Lamattina, Terry Sainty, Steve Read, Mark Mariani, Amanda Shepherd, Alan Dobson and Darren Morgan as not only the numbers are strong but so is the collective equipment and resources this group brings to the table.

In an Australian first, the 2007 ACDelco East Coast Nationals is going to feature two Doorslammer brackets during Saturday's eliminations. The way that this will work is that the top eight qualifiers will race for championship points, while qualifiers nine to sixteen will race for prize money that has been generously raised by Den's Cranes.
With more than 20 Doorslammin' dudes in the paddock and multiple cars capable of 5-second blasts, its no surprise 16 Doorslammers will be ultimately catered for this weekend!
Top Bike could well be the bracket everyone talks about this season, with a huge entry list and some tough machines in the field. Jay Upton heads the onslaught with Athol Williams, Brett Stevens, Troy Maclean, Mark Drew, Leonard Azzopardi and Craig Bonwick ready to nip at the 'white knights' heels.
Pro Stock is all about precision and we have that in spades Today and Tomorrow in both Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle!
Also - don't forget that TODAY is ladies day, which means that ladies will be admitted to the venue free of charge.
