if the John Force Christmas story on the NHRA site didn't bring a tear to your eye...what will ? Man , that story reinforces ( no pun intended ) why I will always root for him !

I'm a sucker for rags-to-riches stories and he's one of my very favorites in that category. The more you dig into his past, the better the story gets.

That's why he is so well liked, deep down he is just a ordinary guy with a good heart!
That story puts another light on the show were he gave his brother that brand new truck.
I bet you he got more out of it than his brother did....

That story is from 2001 or 2002, I believe NHRA.com reposts it every year around this time. Still, it is a good story.
