went to Norwalk Friday and noticed the new way pro stocks are doing nice long smoky burnouts, does this have something to do with efi or are they just trying to get more fan appeal? Myself I thought it was very cool!
I've noticed on TV how good the PS burnouts are. Conversely, the fuel cars have gotten weak in that area. I get the whole "saving the clutch" deal, but even the burnouts they do now don't produce the huge billows of smoke that they used to. My guess is it has something to do with the quality of tires, which is better for performances, but just don't create the smoke.
