Only 2 rounds of Alcohol Qualifying? (1 Viewer)

dragracecentral.com (where you go to get timely results...unlike the Glendora sponsored page that at 6 p.m. Eastern only was up to 1st round of PSB) listed the ladder for alcohol dragster and FC after only two runs. No qualifying tomorrow? Is that accurate?

According to the schedule on the Glendora page, they will have one more qualifying session at 1:00 tomorrow, followed by first round at 4:15.

Just wondering. It seemed bizarre to only have two when it was supposed to be a normal schedule.

I'm not there, but if the ladder is posted it's because NHRA timing and scoring handed our reporters a ladder and qualifying is finished. Since neither of the alcohol eliminators will be sending anyone home, cutting one round off makes the rest of the schedule a little easier to accomplish. Besides, the Glendora schedule for this weekend has been in error in many details.

According to Alan on the audiocast the alky fields are set, comp gets one more round of qualifying tomorrow and run second round of eliminations before prerace ceremonies on Sunday

After the second session tonight, NHRA gave us a final order and ladder for eliminations.

nhra is anticipating rain (here in reading, no way) on sunday, so they are trying to move things up.

Guys - trust me - if you see a ladder posted on Drag Race Central, qualifying is complete. We don't post ladders until we verify them against the official results from NHRA or IHRA.

when you only have 16-17 cars out there, very few run a 3rd session anyway. Besides Dragster only had 13 after that 2nd session anyway.

And in the second qualifying session an alky dragster crashed knocking a CHUNK out of the wall. At that point the track was shut down for the day.
But the driver was concious and alert !!
