Springfield truck company involved in air show crash

It happened around 1:10 p.m. at the Battle Creek Executive Airport during the pyrotechnic portion of the air show, according to the Battle Creek Police Department in a release.

This was on national news yesterday. Showed the truck driving thru ball of flame (part of the show) then catching on fire. News didn't say Chris had died.

Yes. The picture quality is poor but you can see the back rear tire completely came a part and the one in front of it is flat and about to do the same. RIP.

You would think they had well thought out the choice of tires. I was wondering if something on track had damaged them. I guarantee they are looking into this throughly so maybe something about it will come out in the future. Just a sad deal regardless of the cause.
