JOLIET, Ill. – 2009 NHRA Division 3 Top Alcohol Funny Car Champion Chris Foster will race his next four events with primary sponsorship from Goodridge Hoses & Fittings, starting at this weekends’ O’Reilly Auto Parts Route 66 Nationals at Route 66 Raceway just outside of Chicago. Foster enters the event hot off the heels of a win at last weekend’s NHRA Division 3 Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event in Norwalk, Ohio.
Foster, who lives just a few hours down the road in Davenport, Ia., is excited to debut the Goodridge sponsorship at what he considers his home national event.
“We are really excited to get the Goodridge colors back on the car,” said Foster. “Goodridge makes the best hoses and fittings out there, and we hope to use the sponsorship to build brand awareness in the drag racing market. They make a great product and they have a great team to support it. Hopefully we can deliver for them over the next few races.”
Jack Hastings, Director of Motorsports for Goodridge is looking forward to the expanded relationship with Foster Racing in 2011.

It’s going to be a tough race as all the hitters from around the country will be here. We’re looking forward to slugging it out with them. Qualifying begins on Friday with two sessions followed by one final session Saturday morning. Final eliminations will conclude the event on Sunday.
