Ed Sigmon passes. (1 Viewer)

Ed lived close by where I live and I would see him on occations at Coffee & Kix put on by his neighbor across the street where he lived. He was very nice and humble. He owned an HVAC and the work truck he has was a orange on white '70's Chevy C20 pick up with the name EC Sigmon on the side.

I think he was still racing up until last year.

I had to do some digging, but this is a picture I took of Ed Sigmon's car on a weekday test-n-tune day at OCIR. Sorry about the quality. The years haven't been kind to the picture.

My memory may be all screwed up, but wasn't EC Sigmon Ed's dad, who started the business?

Sad day!

I race Ed many times. First in the Butters and Gerard B/ED and later [When my partner. Bill Butters retired] in the Moeller-Whitby-Jackman C/ED.

Good guy and strong racer!
