LD used Bender's and Smith's tune-up all day to win the event. Maybe not the fastest but they read the track and made the most of what they were able to run. Sure they caught a few breaks as other teams overpowered the track, but the team made it down track every run. Key run was the 2nd round beating Berstien Jr. Yeah I know the Shoes car was not right, according to AJ, but how many times have we seen Tony win races the same way.
Bottom line is Bender learned from the best- Ol'Dicko, race the track not the opponent. If your driver does his job you will have a chance to win. Donny and crew, and Larry did theirs today. Good job!

Big congrats to LD, Bender and the team. And, the Snake will have this win in his mind in 2 weeks at March Meet as Grand Marshall. How cool.

If Dixon isn't one of the best out there, I would like to see who you put in front of him............and all Todd and Donnie did was run in the first pair of fuel cars down the track all day...........oh yea and pick a good time (semis) to fix a major problem Congrats to the whole team!! It was a team victory.

LD is the consumate driver, son, Father, etc etc just an awesome guy.
Donnie and Todd and the crew of the skoal dragster....fantastic job.
There is a guy in Michigan that is quite proud of them too.
Very happy for these guys.
