2022 Menards NHRA Nationals presented by PetArmor Event Recap:

Last Event (Sonoma):
Qualified second; First round exit (defeated by Paul Lee in E1)
2023 Statistics:
12 races; three runner-up finishes
Career Statistics:
206 races; six wins, six No. 1 qualifiers
Noteworthy:
DeJoria sits in the No. 5 spot in the Funny Car standings with three races remaining before playoff positions are set. She will look to make up crucial ground at Heartland Motorsports Park as she attempts to crack back into the ‘top three’
Quotable:
“These next two races are really going to make or break our starting position in the playoffs. It’s been a rough couple of races. We had a strong showing in Denver with our runner-up finish and qualified well in Sonoma, but we also had two first-round exits in a row and dropped down to fifth by the time the Western Swing was said and done. We’re going to keep pushing forward and hopefully, we can make moves this weekend. With this being the last race in Topeka, obviously, everyone is going to be going after that last Heartland Motorsports Park trophy, and we’ll be gunning for it as well.”
