Quotable:
“I’ve been racing at Houston since my Super Comp days and I love that track; I’ve had some good luck there. I have never won it but anytime I get to race in the state that I live in is a gift.
“There’s been a bit of a learning curve with the new Supra body, but that body is incredible. It’s got the best downforce, less drag. It’s low, it’s sexy, it’s badass. And, of course, it’s much quicker, so the guys love it, (crew chief) Del (Worsham) loves it. I absolutely love this car and it’s only going to get better. The memories I have from Houston will never be replaced, and hopefully, we’ll close out this weekend with another good showing there.”
