Just finished the book "Boys Will Be Boys" by Jeff Pearlman (with several contributions by Rob Geiger) about the Cowboys of the 1990's. Those dudes got away with things that would have made Caligula blush. I have been on several teams (obviously not at that level) and there is no way I would have tolerated Charles Haley as a teammate.

If you were a fan of the 90's Cowboys, it will cast a very different light on that team for you but still is a must read.

If you are a Cowboy Hater (like me) it is an absolute must read.

The book is crazy, maddening, saddening and always entertaining while providing a remarkable insight into how pro sports operate.

chris, thanks for the tip - not a 'sports' reader, but this one sounds
like a great read; gotta' like the 'behind the scenes' stuff.
......especially when it's degrading to 'america's team'.....give me a break.

i despise the cowboys - i'm a vikings fan, need i say more?
also have extreme distaste for chiefs, dolphins, raiders, steelers.
and lets throw the bears and packers on that list as well.
