The VIP in that group was Bob Panella. His freshened up engine he just did for Pro Stock Racer Danny Gruninger and delivered to the track to the USREGOCNITION.COM PRO STOCK DODGE team produced career best elapsed time in 3 out of 4 qualifing sessions, including a 6.657 second best in q-4....just missing the show by .007 seconds.
But, we didn't see that cool run on the ESPN2 broadcast last night did we? Where he bumped into the field, then was bumped out by Johnny Gray right after. You know, some DRAMA in QUALIFYING. Why would race fans want to see that kind of stuff anyways....right?
