 BECKMAN HAS POLE FOR NHRA CIRCLE TRACK CHALLENGE
WITH ONE WEEK REMAINING FOR FANS TO CAST THEIR VOTES
BRISTOL, Tenn. (Thursday, May 8, 2008) – With just a week remaining before the starting lineup is determined for the NHRA Circle Track Challenge at Bristol Motor Speedway on May 17, “Fast” Jack Beckman is sitting pretty in the pole position.
The lineup for the Saturday night race will be determined by fan voting. Beckman currently leads the way with 28 percent of all votes cast going his way. Allen Johnson, who hails from nearby Greeneville, Tenn., is on the outside pole with 13 percent of the votes.

 JANES HAS HIGH EXPECTATIONS COMING INTO VALDOSTA
(5-9-2008) VALDOSTA, GA – After a two-month layoff from competition within the American Drag Racing League’s Extreme 10.5 division, David Janes and the Knockout Motorsports Pontiac Grand Am are ready to get back to business in South Georgia. While the team has kept their focus tight on the 10.5-racing world, choosing to race nearly exclusively with the ADRL – Janes hasn’t had an opportunity to test as much as he would like.

(May 08 2008) Street, MD - As Jim Halsey stood in Gene Fulton's Spartanburg, SC engine shop yesterday, thoughts of a convincing rebound were going through his mind. Funny how a single event can cast a disappointing shadow on a stellar season, but when you're as competitive as Jim Halsey, you'd like nothing more than a whirlwind turn around at your next outing.  ADRL Event Preview: 4th annual Hardee’s Georgia Drags
The Flowmaster American Drag Racing League (ADRL) presented by the National Guard gets back on track this weekend, May 9-10, as it stages the 4th annual Hardee’s Georgia Drags at South Georgia Motorsports Park (SGMP), near Valdosta, GA. With the postponement of its race last month due to heavy rain in Tulsa , it’s been nine long weeks since the ADRL season opener at Houston , TX .
