This one is not only bad for the racing, but for the fans!! To line them up and have one smoke the tires at least lets fans see a PAIR of dragsters leave the line with a shot. I don't even care Cooper tanked it, but at least give the people what they want to see. Both semi-finals in top fuel were single runs... SAD

He didn't waste the opportunity for a tuning pass for the final round, destroying both ends of the track record in the process on a pretty run, all eight candles lit all the way to the line. Doug Foley's incremental times: 60ft-0.855 sec., 330ft-2.171, 660ft-3.114/265.80mph, 1,000ft-3.915.
