These are the groups/artistes l've seen in concert. Who have you seen in concert? (1 Viewer)

Tubes play shows every once and awhile at a beach bar near here.
Maybe Doc can open again out here at the beach!
Was it the one we did at the Super Bowl? No, maybe our gig at Madison Square Gardens? No, the Superdome? That wasn't it. Maybe it was the show we did at the Kingdome? No, we didn't ever play any of those places if my memory serves me correctly, oh, that's right. It was on the roof of a free standing "Orange Julius" in Phoenix at 19th ave and Indian School Road.

It is coming back to me now....

UPDATE!!!!

saw Paul Stanley solo last night at hard rock live in orlando. WOW. the guy looks great , and sounded better. Without having to bounce around on 7 inch heels, he had the breath to really sing, and can he ever.

also, I forgot Peter Gabriel on this list how could I !
saw him in 93 I think. The us tour. opened with 'talk to me' . sang it inside of a red phone booth. then walked with the handset , pulling a never ending phone cord halfway across the arena floor. it's hard to describe what a show a peter gabriel concert is.

just THE CULT. you may remember she sells sanctuary , love removal machine, fire woman, etc.

awesome blend of modern and late 60s sounds. kind of what led zep and steppenwolf would sound like if they had ever jammed together

rock on folks, it makes my world go round

Bob C.,
was that Ian Asbury that sang for the cult?
and is he still with the band? thought they replaced him?
always loved their sound.

just saw Alice in Chains last night in phillytown
if you like AIC and don't want to see them without Layne, you are making a huge mistake - they were incredible!

Kelly, do think PG would want to be your Sledge Hammer?
Dude! I'm watching Peter Gabriel's "Growing Up" concert on satellite right now. Holy crap! I bet this would be my second favorite concert given the chance to go see it live! My butt is going to Best Buy tomorrow! :D

bout time I answered you eh? yes IAN is and always has been the singer.
when he and duffy dont' get along, the CULT doesn't exist.
I enjoyed the show thoroughly with one caveat -it was much too loud. almost painful. too bad too because the performance was stellar.
really good....

Re: These are the groups/artistes l've seen in concert. Who have you seen in concert

I can't even come close to remembering them all but My first was Pink Floyd in 1972 at Blossom Music Center, outside Cleveland, and the last was George Jones in Shreveport last year. The Most would be Metallica (5) Rush (5) Todd Rundgren (5) Blue Oyster Cult (5) ZZ Top (5) Pink Floyd (4) Too many great shows to say which was my favorite BUT Metallica in the "snakepit" in 1991 was a favorite, Bruce Springsteen on New years eve in Cleveland in the 70's, the Allman Brothers at "slicks" in St. Martinsville, La., Wendy "O" and the Plasmatics at the "Agora Ballroom" in Cleveland were some memoriable shows, Also Bonnie Raitt and Stevie Ray at Grant Street Dance hall in Lafayette, La in 1987 was a wild night, I got wasted on Tequila, got stopped on my Triumph Chopper on Univerisity Blvd. doing a wheelstand, they let me go, went to my buddys and got more wasted after that it was a blur untill I awoke in the Iberia Parish Jail two days later, The last thing I remember was Stevie Ray jammin' on his Guitar while I danced on the bar with some other equally enibreated people, after that?????????

I was more worried about the first list:D

My first concert was Led Zep in 1970 and the last was Johnny Winter/ Guitar Shorty recently. Don't go as much anymore unless I know someone. When you've seen Zepellin, Clapton, Bowie, etc. for $4.50 ya hate to pay the prices these days.
