I ran into this video while checking out Nunzio's thread about Kenny Youngblood. A great interview of a legend that still has a fantastic memory and the skill of storytelling. Back in the day, he did a lot to make kids feel important at the racetrack. It reminded me a lot of Don Prudhomme and how he treated me after I took the picture of him flying over the finish line on fire in Seattle. In later years, he did the same for my son. Man, there is nothing like a hero making a kid feel special ! Anyway, a video worth watching.

I saw George run T/F & AA/FA (Rat Trap) and about everything else. Trivia: the night before Garlits' accident at Lions, Garlits & Hutchison had a match race, both driving flathead dragsters. Garlits won.. I remember the dragster that Garlit's drove. The owner driver raced it in bracket racing at Lions a lot. One time he lost his job and was able to win some races to keep going.. Announcer at Lions told that story.

Thanks for posting the video Allan.
