Snyder Ready to Wrap Up the Season in Reynolds

Mick Snyder and the Snyder Motorsports Race Team are heading down to Reynolds , Georgia this weekend for their final event of the season. The Top Alcohol Funny Car Team sponsored by Knoll Gas – Torco Racing Fuels / Powersource Transportation find themselves in unfamiliar territory--needing a win here to successfully defend their championship.

“This is obviously a big weekend for us. We can either win it all or end up in 3rd place depending on how we do here. After the season we have had to be in the position to win is really good for us. Now we just have to go out there and perform the way we know how,” said Snyder.

The back-to-back-to-back Division 3 championship Team has earned two wins so far this season and earned their third straight Spitzer Low Qualifier Championship.

“We put ourselves in this position; now it is time to show why we are the champions and go out there and do what we know how to do. I have a great Team behind me and the best sponsors anyone could ask for. The competition will be tough this weekend but I would love to bring the championship home for Knoll Gas – Torco Racing Fuels, Powersource Transportation and all the other great people that help us throughout the season.”

Qualifying for the event begins on Saturday at 3 PM with the second and final shot coming at 7 PM. Eliminations will begin at 1 PM on Sunday and continue throughout the day.
