Congrats to Randy for getting signed to run the TAFC operation for Keeter Ray. Randy always posts here, and I always enjoy reading his posts since he is a true racer. Good luck this season Randy, and while you probably miss running your own car, this doesn't sound like a bad gig!

X2 :D

Glad Randy is going to be out there this year!!

Thanks everyone!

We were hoping to make 3 test runs with the new equipment at the Vegas division race this weekend but Keeter had the car painted and the painter was late (shock) and just picked it up this afternoon. Tonight the letterer showed up and worked late. It still needs the tin and windows and everything else reinstalled so e might end up getting a late start.

Hey Doug. Looks like you guys had some fun in Gainsville.

Anyone that knows Keeter. Knows the car will look awesome. Good luck Randy. It was nice meeting you at Worshams shop.

Update:

Keeter did a great job getting used to doing things he hasn't done before which included a near half track burn out for the first time without the use of a throttle stop. You should have seen the grin on his face!

After the two test runs we did at the division race we are hoping for a good outing this weekend at the National Event in Vegas but we are still in test mode. Keeter's McKinney car wants a different set up than the chassis we are used to so it will just be a matter of finding that sweet spot in the tune-up and giving Keeter confidence in his driving.

The two teams gelled great and we had a blast. We are looking forward to a fun year as we gather information each time we take Keeter to the starting line. Hopefully we'll give him a competitive car very soon.

Randy
