CORDOVA, Ill. (August 28, 2009) -- August 28-29 marks the 56th Annual World Series of Drag Racing for Cordova Dragway Park. Zizzo Racing will be there with the 300 mph PEAK / HERCULINER / O'Reilly Top Fuel Dragster.
"It's been a long summer," T.J. Zizzo admitted. "With school starting this week for a lot of kids, we feel like we're right there with them. We're ready to get back into a routine and put on a nice show for the folks at Cordova."
The O'Reilly Auto Parts World Series of Drag Racing is the oldest continuous drag race in the World. This year, the legendary Big Daddy Don Garlits will preside over the festivities.
