I remember years ago when Ace was in a slump and he said:
"It's like I just woke up stupid." It appears he's woken up quite clear headed of late. Congrats to a team who has yet to lose a round of racing in 2009!

looks like i was a year early with the çapps 'BLITZKRÈIG' video. I think these boys are going for the throat this year. Great win and yes very much sealed with that 4.04 in the finals. But thats ACE!

Congrats Ron and ACE!! Awesome! I loved the number 1 qualifier role. It's been a long time ... Let's hope they don't take their foot off of the other teams throats!

I got to meet Ron in person at Brainerd in '05, and you'll not find a nicer person on this planet. I was after some "stuff" for a fellow mater. Ron was still in the show, but he he made time to talk to me, and treated me like he'd known me all my life, and made sure his crew found what I was looking for.
I'm a huge fan of the man, as I am of The Ace, and am DELIGHTED to see them start the season like this. I found it interesting that the "stat man" said everyone who's done this so far has gone on to win the Championship in that year.
Let's hope that holds true this year.
