I've never done the TEC for the Gatornationals, but I was in that area of grandstands for another event a while back.

Trying to decide if the perks of the TEC at that track are worth the jump in admission or not.

Thoughts?

I was wondering about this too because I plan on upgrading for 2013. We sat in that area when we went back for the finals on Monday this year. I loved the seats, but at $360 each is it really worth it?

•Prime starting line reserved seats for all four days of racing.
•Exclusive access to the member's hospitality center.
•Complimentary coffee, tea and lemonade daily.
•Complimentary breakfast and lunch buffets Saturday and Sunday.
•Access to members-only driver autograph sessions with some of the biggest stars in drag racing.
•A free member's gift bag including limited-edition event merchandise.

Sounds pretty good to me!!!

i'd say it's priced right.
if average of $75/day gets you a 'good' seat', reserved with a backrest,
then they feed you 2x/day(mediocre buffet + non-alcoholic beverage ($40/day).
that's $420.00 and they're selling it for $360.00

if you look at as 'i probably won't sit there much on thursday, now you're paying
$225.00 for (3) days of pros + $120 food/drink = $345
the merchandise bag and autograph sessions IMO have zero value.

it's not for me, but might be great for others.

Sat in TEC the one and only time I`ve been to Gainesville and it was good. VIP parking alone at that track makes it worth it. It`s just like all the other TECs we`ve ever done....Pomona, Houston, Indy, Bristols Thunder Vally Club. If you have the $$, they`re all worth it!
