EFI intake blade management (1 Viewer)

I have heard on several occasions that its hard to get the intake blade to maintain the correct opening for the right idle since the large blade is not easy to manage.
Have they considered maybe a two stage blade opening where a small portion of the large blade has an adjustable opening similar to a throttle stop on the fuel cars.
The blade is partially open to stage the car then BAM!! goes wide open.
Just a thought

These parts are mandated by NHRA and exclusively supplied by Holly. They HAVE to be run "as is".

Nothing in the rules about some kind of progressive throttle linkage though. Just has to be mechanical.

Think about this.....NHRA crew chiefs are smarter than most engineers in any industry out there. Same with NASCAR, they have to out performance their competition every single day. Racing really is rocket science. They will figure it out.

Yea, most of my EFI cars have an IAC, you would think the Holly supports that functionality.....Tip in might be a whole 'nuther issue.....
