DSR Qualifying Highlights:

• Defending Funny Car world champion Matt Hagan clocked the fourth-quickest pass of Q1 aboard the Direct Connection Dodge as it made its NHRA debut
• Funny Car point leader Ron Capps took the Pennzoil Synthetics/NAPA AUTO PARTS Dodge to the top-half of the timing sheets, landing in the provisional No. 7 qualifying position
• Also helping to launch Dodge’s new performance-based program at her sponsor’s event, double-duty driver Leah Pruett provisionally qualified her Direction Connection dragster and Direct Connection Mopar Drag Pak in the top half of the field in the Top Fuel and Factory Stock Showdown Series categories
• Mark Pawuk joined his FSS teammate on the quick side of the ladder by recording the fifth-quickest pass of Q1
