September 28, 2006 ( Mechanicsville , MD ) - Danny Rowe and his Jimmy Rector led team is heading to the Torco Racing Fuels President's Cup Nationals, race ten of the 11-event eMax Drag Racing Series. As the season winds down, Rowe is approaching this weekend with confidence and optimism to achieve ultimate success and compete at his highest level of competition.
"We feel good at where we are at right now," commented Rowe. "We still have a great shot [at the championship], and we are going to continue to chase that until the end. Right now, we are focusing at one race at a time, and believe that having a good attitude and driving forward we will be able to get there."
Rowe went on to say, "It's easy at this point in the game to take your eye off the day-to-day business of racing. However, we just want to go out and run well and let the championship race take its course. We want to win a race and look at it from the standpoint of we are building a foundation of a great race program and use this as the building blocks. We are just going to look at going rounds and winning the race, and that will then work towards the championship."
With Rowe and team keeping their optimism alive, and remembering to keep in prospective each round win, success seems inevitable. Overall, the team is seeking a win during the Torco Racing Fuels President's Cup Nationals first this weekend and allowing thoughts of the championship goal to come after.
