NHRA® New England Nationals - Epping
Pre-Race Report
Cruz Pedregon and team are heading to the New England Nationals with renewed focus after a week of fine-tuning the Snap-on Dodge® fuel and oil systems. “I’ve always liked the track in Epping,” says Cruz. “I feel like everything is really going to click for us this weekend. We’ve been working late in the shop over the break getting things in perfect condition, and we look forward to seeing it all pay off and the team staying around to work late on Sunday.”
“We took time in the shop to get the car in the best shape possible,” says Crew Chief Glenn Huszar. “We really focused on making sure the fuel and oil systems are running smoothly, and we’re confident this will make the difference for us in Epping.”
After a few tough races, Cruz isn’t scared to make the push to turn things around in New England. He has had good runs in Epping in past years, and the team is looking to score a win this weekend.
Cruz is currently only one spot out of the qualifying top 10 with six races left until the Countdown to the Championship. A few aggressive runs with the Snap-on Dodge® in New England could be just what the experienced driver needs to propel him to a place in the Countdown.

Check out Cruz's car this week and you'll see the name of area Snap-on Nitro Franchisee Andy Pelletier. Andy spent 27 years in the automotive field starting as a collision tech and working his way up to divisional manager. He says he likes a challenge and chose to go in business for himself with a Snap-on Tools franchise. It's now a family business with his wife, Jessica, running a second mobile store for the Pelletiers. It will be their first time at the track and to meet Cruz, and they're hosting two more first-timers – a local husband and wife team who build high-performance engines. Andy says it's going to be an exciting weekend for all of them.
