Breaking News from Tindle Racing; Tindle Announces New Team

2007 Promod Rookie of the Year Tim Tindle made an announcement of his new team for the upcoming Promod season. Among the exciting new changes, Tindle racing has named two-time IHRA Pro Mod World Champion Mike Janis and son Mike Janis Jr. Crew Chief and Co-Crew Chief of the Tindle Racing Promod Team.

Tindle said "I can't begin to explain how excited I am of this upcoming season. I am proud of what we were able to accomplish in our first year of Promod racing and I have had the opportunity to learn a lot. We have made a lot of changes as we prepare for the upcoming season and we are really excited about it. This year may be one of the fastest and most competitive lineups that NHRA Pro Mods have seen. We welcome Mike and Mike Janis Jr. to our operation and we are looking forward to getting this season started."

Tindle Racing will also be adding a second car to competition in the 2008 season. The driver of the second GT 500E Mustang will be announced. Crew members Marcus Sewell and Marvin "Bouk" Shepard will be returning to the team and Andy "Skippy" Pinkerton has been named lead tech and clutch specialist.

In 2008, Tindle Racing will be competing in the AMS Promod Challenge with a proposed schedule that includes Gainesville, Houston, Atlanta, St. Louis, Bristol, Englishtown, Indianapolis, Dallas, Richmond, and Las Vegas. The team will also be competing in various outlaw races, including the ADRL (American Drag Racing League).

In 2007, Tim Tindle was chosen as the AMS Promod Challenge Rookie of the year after an impressive season performance. Tindle earned his first national event win at the ProCare Rx Super Nationals at Raceway Park, Englishtown, NJ and then extended his second event win after winning the Pro Care RX Pro Mod Clash in Las Vegas.

Tindle Racing would like to specially thank TEI (Tindle-Enteprises Inc), MSD Ignition, Goodyear Tires, and NGK Spark Plugs for their continuing support.
