PERFECT END TO A WINNING SEASON
Barklage Racing to Race Final Super Chevy Show of 2007

WEST PALM BEACH, FL. – After Zach Barklage, set the Aeromotive Nitro Coupe world record at the last Super Chevy Show with a 6.01, Cody Barklage locked up the points Championship, and Zach taking the No. 2 spot what else could top off the 2007 season? Winning the final race of the season of course.

“We always go out to win the race,” said Cody Barklage. “Although I have locked up the world championship, and Zach looks good in the No. 2 spot, we are still in Florida to race. We have finished the season strong, and really want to keep the momentum going before the off season hits us.”

Cody Barklage went on to state, "I'm honored to be the first from our racing organization to bring home a Championship. It's been a tremendous season and our hard work has paid off. We worked very hard this season and this was most definitely a team effort. I couldn't have done this without the support of my parents and brother; Dave and the crew; and our sponsors, Lucas Oil, Torco Racing Fuel, Taylor Cable, Goodyear Tires, Goodson Tools, NGK Sparkplugs, Lake Race Products and Moreland Well Drilling. It's been an honor and privilege to race in the Super Chevy Show and to be associated with such a prestigious sanctioning body. Roger Gustin and the entire Super Chevy Show staff put on a great show, and I'm honored to be their champion for 2007."

“We have done very well this season,” added Zach Barklage. “My brother is the 2007 Aeromotive Nitro Coupe World Champion, and I am now the record holder with a 6.01. We were able to back that up with a 6.02, and 6.03 the last Super Chevy event in Tulsa . We won and runnered-up that event, and I went on to win an event just last week in Houston , so it has been a great end to the season. My main focus this weekend is to stay in the No. 2 points spot and allow our team for the first time ever to take the Championship and No. 2 finish.”

Barklage Racing would like to acknowledge U.S. Marine Corps, Lucas Oil, Taylor Cable, Torco Racing Fuels, NGK Sparkplugs, Goodson, Goodyear, Lake Race Products, P & A Drywall, Mark Barklage Drywall, Moreland Well Drilling, Weld Wheels, Aeromotive Fuel Systems, and Super Chevy Show.
