BARKLAGE RACING RETURNS TO AMS PRO MODIFIED COMPETITION
Cody Barklage Receives World Championship Support

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (August 31, 2007) – For the first time since May, Barklage Racing is returning to the NHRA AMS Pro Mod Challenge. Cody Barklage, who is the youngest driver on the tour, will race his 2006 Pontiac GTO during the Mac Tools US Nationals.

“I am excited to be back in NHRA competition,” said Barklage. “We have been doing very well in Super Chevy Show Nitro Coupe, and I feel we can transfer some of our success to NHRA. We have the support of some tremendous people this weekend and hopefully we can do them proud.”

Returning with the team this event is P & A Drywall, the United States Marine Corps, Boulder Creek Dining and new addition Lend America .

“We have formed a strong relationship with P & A Drywall, the Marines and Boulder Creek Dining,” commented Barklage. “We now have another great company with us, Lend America . We have long known former Pro Mod World Champ Mike Ashley, and we feel this further shows his commitment to Pro Mod racing. Mike had a tremendous operation with his Pro Mod team and now with his Funny Car team, and of course he runs a great company with Lend America . We are excited to have such strong marketing partners with us for the biggest event of our sport.”
