ANTRON BROWN: Driver of the Matco Tools Top Fuel Dragster

Brown carries the momentum of last week’s win in Topeka into the Brainerd event
The Topeka triumph was Brown’s 53rd Top Fuel victory, and first as a team owner
By powering the Matco Tools dragster to the winner's circle last weekend in Kansas, Brown moved into the Top 10 in the points rankings, and is looking to maintain his Top 10 ranking this weekend at the penultimate event of NHRA’s regular season
Brown has been victorious in both the Top Fuel and Pro Stock Motorcycle categories in Brainerd

“Once you get your chance, you’ve got to shine and from here on out, we’re only going forward. We’re not going to slow down, and we didn’t show all we had (in Topeka). We’re right where we want to be, and we just want to keep getting better. A lot of good came out of Topeka and we’re really looking forward to Brainerd. It’s always been a great track for us. It’s going to be cooler weather and we’re looking at running in the 3.60s. Once we get that, it’s game on.
“To get that synergy there and to get everybody on the same page, it was a lot. We went through it, and it was like the school of hard knocks, but it was everybody coming together, believing in the same vision. We’re there now and we’re all in this together. That’s what this team is all about and that’s what makes this so special right now. We’re family and when we race, we give it all we got and let the chips fall where they may. The Countdown is two races away and we’re going to give it all we’ve got.”
