Reading Update

Track drying is in progress. Track could be ready by 9:30.

Finally!!!

They've called cars to the lanes. Looks like they're going to run some sportsmans first to put some rubber on the track.

After this much of a delay I can't see many sportsman racers being able to stay this long. One good thing, the ones that are left won't have much competition. I hope they have all their contingency stickers on.

Results are starting to be posted at NHRA.com.

Look at these track conditions:
Weather conditions: air temperature 64 degrees, relative humidity 79 percent, barometer 29.66 inches, adjusted altitude 854 feet, track temperature 68 degrees.

If there was only rubber on the track...these cars would fly.

I am very surprised at how many sportsman are still there.

I would have thought that too but almost everyone stayed... I think total (all categories) only about 3 left...
