David and others.....IMO I feel you should know something about the car you are driving and pay your dues w/ sweat equity.....
JFR will not need to spend 16-18 months of training for him to debut...or have him in an A-fuel car for two seasons...
Ashley had been steering a S/C car, an A-Fuel dragster for how many seasons...then a year and half making 'fun' laps for her debut...
Neff, like Medlen and Hight know every inch of the car so they understand it...When those two (Medlen/Hight) made their debuts' they were not slapping the walls and/or going over centerline in their first year...and those two never drove anything else in NHRA competition....I never said a rookie should not compete but I think after you receive your license you are just like everyone else in your class...And not too many 'rookies' get to make 200 passes in practice and then be declared a 'rookie' @ the Winternats..
BTW...I am very happy to see Ashley Force running well as the pressure is tough...
Neff is a hard worker who will not need anyone to 'teach' him to drive a fuel coupe...it's in his heart...
Look @ Wilkerson jr....he knew the mechanics of the car and it comes natural to him w/out all the hype and drama...

Well read what you said on another thread.

I have never heard of a first year driver having this much sketchy/negative attention....
Glad she was not hurt...For the fans that sat during that clean up.....THANKS

Why do you have to Guess at this.. Remember History repeats it self..........................................

Aka Whit.... says done next year.. ok Mr got sucker punched by loser Crapps.. You can go Home and watch TV for the rest of the year...

If you think for ONE Second the THE Don, is going to let go of HIS Championship winning crew Chief. Your all nuts and need a shrink. You do not EVER allow your self to get beat by Yourself.. lol Duh ya like hey man why don't you ZIPP on over to the Compeitition, over there before the end of the year. Just take all our info and you go give it to them and beat us.. I DARE YOU.. LMAO

oh second Option no young man.. I am sure you mean well to get a pay raise with a 401k and throw in medical and Dentist bills.. But since you are a bad boy and make this all public, so it hurts me getting more $$$ from Mopar and who ever else will put money into the Team.. I think it would a good time for Vacation.. Ask Whit what his Vacation was like. Enjoy life your check is in the mail Unless you break our deal. and show up at any NHRA event, and have any such antic with another team..

Have a wonderful day.

Re: Neff: debut at Indy??

mike neff oozes cool.
couldn't be happier for him.

and just one more fleeting thought.......
the car should be painted (with permission) like the black pisano olds cutlass from late 80's. sorry, i just think when mike drives next year, he will remind a lot of us of racers of yesteryear.
