Re: Force wins again `
Absolutely. It was great to see Team Force win this special race for Eric Medlen, John Medlen and the town of Oakdale, California.
I've said it the last two weeks:
The champ is back.
7th place, and movin' on up.

I'll bet this win is going to be pretty special for Team Force with Sonoma being Eric's home track and all. Congrats to Team Force. I'm thinking that #15 is a stong possibility....

Re: Force wins again `
I think John has really come a long way here recently. 2 wins, and a runner up in the last 4 races.... Pretty stout!
Also, tip of the cap to Del Worsham. I would have been happy with the results of the final no matter who won.

I agree Paul. I root for Del all the time. When it's his team and Force's team, I'm happy with whoever wins.

Well, that doesn't make much of a difference now, does it?
Now that he's in, Indy is like Pomona... Let the steamrolling begin....
(NOT a JF flame, BTW....)

Re: Force wins again `
Ive always thought of "the chase" as almost the "John Force, Sarge, Team Summit Rule"
I know this is putting "the cart before the horse" but how ironic would it be if John won the championship thanks to the new system when, under the the old system he would not have even be close.

Re: Force wins again `
Remember, it is the Countdown not the Chase. The Chase is NASCARs format.

Re: Force wins again `
You know the other guys at first probably liked the idea that they could get hot and maybe pass him b/c I'm sure they expected him to be in the lead or atleast in top 2 or 3 come the countdown.
But I bet they hate it now for sure since he's been on fire lately. I will admit that if he does make it in and win it that I wont hold it near and dear since it was the countdown format but I dont make the rules and everyone has to follow the same set of them.
Honestly, I dont care if he wins it or not this year I'm just glad he's winning rounds and races again. It just wasnt the same without him being around after first round.

Re: Force wins again `
For the first time I am actually rooting against force to win, because of the chase/countdown.
To bad too because this year could have been exciting year with Force charing from 18th or 20th to a possible first. Knowing that he is going to be given points to help catch up, 2 times, just take any meaning out of it

Re: Force wins again `
John Force is the only driver that can win 14 chapionships and 100's of wallys and still get positive feed back. Half of the people on this site hate Greg Anderson . Why is that?
