That was my first thought, JFR has a full house in FC now.

I've heard that John thinks TF Dragsters are WAYY to dangerous and will NEVER let his girls drive them.

I would guess it has something to do with the bore spaceing in the block. NHRA is very specific about all the specs in the motor and to my knowledge the ford did not meet the specs.
I think anybody can build a fuel motor as long as it's a copy of the current fuel Hemi.
With that thought in mind I have to wonder why ford would spend all that money to copy the current fuel Hemi.
Time will tell!

Mike Neff and Robert Hight will move to TF so that John and his three girls can have a FC team.



EDIT: This is not any sort of speculation at all, nor have I heard this from anyone -- I just formulated it in my brain because it made sense.

good for them! with the 4 car rule i can see them in top fuel . or maybe if lets just say john says that on paper his wife or his daughters own the team can they now have 4 cars? kinda tight in the flopper world for jfr for brit and courtent runnif funny cars. but good luck to them!

First line of the piece says it all.

I doubt John would do something like that, it would not endear him to the fans if he had half the field at his house.

Funny you should ask that, in an upcoming article - we asked him that very thing.

“That’s not going to happen,” Force said. “The NHRA came to me when I said I was building a fourth team. I told them I didn’t want to do it if there was going to be some kind of rule. They said there was no problem. After that was set in play, the rule came out limiting to four teams. If you try to do it like NASCAR and put the team in the name of a relative then they will know what we were doing.

“First of all, I don’t want to do it. If it can’t be part of my deal then I don’t want to do it. That’s just the way it will be.”
