NOT another gripe about the Countdown...
We have had enough Countdown to the Championship bashing.
That's not what this is.
My mind is wondering - why bother with who is "ahead in the points by 1xx points by Norwalk and the others are really struggling to keep up." IT DOESN'T MATTER! Now - when they show the 8-16 field with the -XX in regards to where they have to get to be in the top 8, that's helpful - but am I missing something?
Does it really matter how big a lead someone develops before Indy? Why talk about it? Why not just say "It looks like they are locked in the top 8."
There were several references yesterday to how the top few leaders might shuffle around, like it's going to affect the final outcome. Don't they realize it's only going to be one round of racing between them after Indy, then again, then again?
