maybe because all of Melanie's stuff, including crew, was taken and given to him and he is still not cutting it?

There's only two teams out there with "unlimited" resources, and this isn't one of them.... But it is good to see the guys that run em like they used to get it done... GO LUIGI!!!!!

If you don't know why the changes were made maybe you need to back off.

I'm quite sure you have no idea what I know.

Re: Lucas 4.67
I just feel bad for Melanie. I mean, to have a crew chief that you're used to just be yanked out from underneath you like that and to completely switch teams just sucks. I have nothing against Morgan at all, or against his old crew or crew chief. I just feel bad that one person has to suffer for another's success...and even with the switch things just don't seem to be getting any better.

Re: Lucas 4.67
Mel qualified ok at the last race, in spite of the many changes.
She's still #6 in the points.

You're right Jackee. I just hope that it continues to be good for her.

The opening session wasn't too bad Friday. I think they need to move Saturday's second session back to at least 5 pm.

Re: Lucas 4.67
I'd like to see Morgan et al qualify, seem to be good people. Are they having the same problems with tune up that Kalittas are? Was there a rule change from last year that I passed over that would cause tuners to have the difficulties?

I think that would be a great idea, even if it cools the track 5-10 degrees should make for a better show.

Re: Lucas 4.67
Its good to see some of the little guys get in. Morgan and crew HAVE to step up, its that simple. He's got his dad's money, a talented crew, and great equipment. I am very surprised this kid hasn't won an event, in what 3 years now?

Re: Lucas 4.67
Well, they've spent dad's money, swapped out the crew, and been around the block a few times with various equipment... What's left?
Hmmmm

Re: Lucas 4.67
I have an idea for everybody here:
Change the name Morgan Lucas for John Force (you know, the guy with more championships than anyone on the planet) and pick up the specluation using your same logic for this year's performance.
It takes time, money, energy, good help, good equipment, and a lot of luck!
