I think NHRA would lean on him pretty hard if he tried to follow through with this. But, ya never know.

Can somebody help me out here? I am unaware of what transpired with the "dirty dozen" and the link has a list that includes Dave Connolly and his dad. Can somebody fill me in so I'm not as much in the dark?

Terry, several years ago at a big money bracket race the 12 racers were suspected of cheating. When they confronted them they told them to let them see there cars or leave and never come back. They all packed up and left and IHRA suspended them forever. Technically they were never caught cheating but they were suspended since they left.

Is that the one where someone red lighted, and the other car went on to run dead on, never looking back? Like that's going to happen at a big money race? Something about drilling a spindle, a counter on the front wheel, and a tach that tells you if your ahead of or behind schedule?

Not to mention, that after being caught, these boxes were on sale on some of these listed peoples web-sites for years after they were caught.
Other items as well. Infared cameras that would leave the car right on the yellow blip, exactly the same every time.
Lots of ways to cheat. Lots of people trying them.
