So you're saying that none of these racers were using the infamous "Matty Box" on their cars and that they did tear them down and found nothing? This story seems too confusing in light of this news.

That's about 180 degrees from what was documented in print back then.

So...Now we know that Dave is as adept at tiptoeing though political minefields as he is at nailing the tree in Pro-Stock...nice! He and Bader really had no other way to respond...

Re: Half of the Dirty Dozen return to the scene of the crime!

I thought there was a 4 pages on this....
Some just can’t seem to let go, however. Earlier this week, the Nitromater.com message board generated a four-page thread on the racers returning to Norwalk.

thanks for the ink..

Looks to me like someone's attacking the messenger(s). Shame on any of us for not knowing the difference between forever/life and seven years!

After working at National Trail for a lot of years and also knowing the Baders up north for the same amount of time it is shocking and appalling that it was a seven year duration on a lifetime ban. Bader still owns the facility and should have stuck to his guns. He finally got the big time backing and bucks he wanted from NHRA......There are alot of racers out there that are really po'ed that they stuck by him for all these years knowing he did the right thing only to see him cave in at the end.

Typical...Typical ...Typical.......As was always said....Money talks....And we all got Bull Shooted
