I hope this isn't too far off topic but I have a question. It is my understanding that DSR is not running the Glidden motors any more. If that is the case, what happened to the motor that Richie was qualifying with every race before the switch? Is is "shelved"?

This is a game of inches but it is a team sport too.

I think Erica (and, yes, Hilary) are great for this sport - they're paying their dues and conducting themselves with class. They'll be around a while.
I do too Jim. I hope they both start winning and are in our sport for a long time. Some here are critical but I just look at it as par for the course. they are in a sport with fans and the fans like to discuss all things about the sport. Some of us are just a little more critical than others. :::shrug:::

Hey at least EE's able to get that Red car down the track! Besides the Slammers car didn't qualify either...

The issue isn't EE at all. Th real issue is how long will it take before this team has two cars running up to speed. We have been waiting for this to happen since January. First, it was SC needing to learn, then team chemistry, then a new crew chief, and then a new car, and now it is EE's turn for blame in all of this. It is time to forget about who's fault it is, and time to build more engines that run as well as Richie's do!

I would think that all the MOPARS are running "Glidden motors". Wasn't it Bob that had the heads & block redesigned? Aren't those new parts responsible for the new found success of "V", AJ, and the rest? I'm sure there was some input from Larry Morgan and Roy Johnson but I would think Gliddden was the key player here. The "Nickens Motor" is just a Glidden with someone else doing the massage.
