I see your Point Dave, but I've had some P.O.S. Glasses that I liked, but misplaced them somewhere. Couldn't stand to see a pair of $130+ Sunglasses go out that way!

I had bought Gargoyles in the past, somewhat because I worked at DEI, but that's what I did. I bought my first Oakley's last year and thats it. Only Oakley's now. I left West Wendover Nevada yesterday morning and drove through the rain all the way through Salt Lake City and out to the UT/WY state line. Never took the glasses off. The clarity they provide is unbelievable. Makes all weather conditions visible.... except til the sun goes down
Kelly..... go to a Sunglass Hut and try some on, gives you a little advantage before getting to the track. The Rolling O is pretty packed most of the time so if you have an idea of what you are looking for it makes the purchase easier. They have all frames and lens options...very cool...

The best time to hit the Rolling O is on a Thursday -- or when the pros are running.

Gotcha......I'm looking at a larger framed pair this time around. I've gotten a couple of recommendations.
Oh, I also use one of my older pair of Half Jackets when I shoot outside. So far, they haven't received any damage from spent rounds.....but it's bound to happen soon.

That settles it, I guess my next "sports watch" will be an Oakley. I currently have a Tag and a Raymond Weil, while they are both nice, but I am in the market for something new. I was real close to buying a Breitling in St. Thomas a few weeks ago ... perhaps I will wait until Indy to see Donnie.
On a side note, I play a lot of poker here in Vegas, and people always assume I am a pro sponsored by Oakley (sunglasses, shirts, jeans, shoes). I am far from it, but it does convey the proper table image.

Hey Jim, THANKS!
Quality product, no matter WHICH product, that's one of the things about Oakley merchandise, but I will always be a consumer,,,,,,,,
I have 1/2 mile of fence row that gets the weed eater treatment about once a month (or whenever I'm home, whichever comes first), wasn't that long ago the string trimmer launched a failrly nice sized rock straight towards my right eye. FORTUNATELY I had on my Oakley's, chipped the lens, but didn't shatter or PENETRATE!
Talked to Holly @ the next event, bought a replacement lens, and continue to wear theme anytime I'm using the weed-eater. Soon to buy another pair, just because I want a new style.
My prescription frames are O's along with 2 other members of my family. there isn't a better prescription frame on the market.
Love the shoes too!
Thanks Jim, class act all the way around!

I think I'll be scoping the watches out tonight on the Oakley when I get home from work...
OT: Where do you play your poker? Hubby and I lived in Vegas for 2 1/2 years (I'm sure I've mentioned this before...). Think you'll squeeze in some poker after rounds during Vegas 2? I'll come snap some pics of you in your Oakley gear at the table. Oh, yeah, that's because I will definitely be going to Vegas 2 this year. Just lining up lodging at this point, hopefully will have the plane tickets booked by the weekend.
Maybe I should just meet up with Jim sometime...wanna get some Oakley ads in my paper? LOL j/k I have no control over that...they don't let me deal with anything involving money.
Mmm. One less day till I get my new O shades. *rubs hands together a la Monty Burns* Excellent.

Wynn, Bellagio, the Palms or Caesar's Palace. Depends on my mood. I always try to play where there are likely to be more tourists than locals.

Ah, an excuse to go to the Wynn. They were building it last time I was in town...nearly three years ago. I remember when it was the DI and painted red, etc., for 'Rush Hour 2.'
In fact, a big reason I want my Oakleys for my birthday is so I can wear them during the trip to Vegas in October. Although, if all is true in here, I may wear them year-round up here, despite the crummy weather we'll be having by the end of October.
I am in a good mood today...heh. More on that, though, later, in the lounge.

I have bought Oakley Glasses for the last 10 years..... Frog Skins, M Frames, T Wires, E Wires, Square Wire 2.0's.... all great glasses..... my most recent purchase being some Cross Hairs and Polarized Gas Cans.... unfortunately I lost them both within a month about 3 months ago and my travel insurance company isn't coming to the party..... a$$holes!...... the Gas Cans got left on the roof of my car after filling up, and the Cross Hairs were knocked out of my wifes handbag into a lake... ....so at the moment I am Oakleyless
