from a camper's perspective - we witnessed a few incidents involving
the 'corporal'..... that being said, he used to have a fella' working for him
of similar age to himself who would ride around on a red golf cart and talk
to anybody, usually trying to ask for suggestions on how to
improve the event - Louie I believe was his name. Wish HE would have had
more pull - genuinely a great guy.
Bill Singleterry also always treated us well.

Yes Perry. I'm fully aware what he refers to himself as, but at Pat noted above ^ ^^ other folks have different names for him. I'm just using one of the them that won't get my post deleted.

As John would say, (WWJS?) Bottom line: He's gone, that era is done, it's time to move on and turn the Brainerd track into one of the premiere motor sports facilities located in one of the prettiest areas of the country. And from what I've read and heard, it sounds like that exactly what the new owners intend to do!

Good news…..

On the local six o’clock news tonight they said the owners of Iven’s plan to be open by August 12th.
