I dont think I have seen a mention, from anyone about Vandergriff being the runner up @ Vegas. Most of the time, they get mentioned about them getting to the last dance, but no one here, that I saw, has made a single comment.

Anyone care to share why ?

Congrats to Bob and to the UPS team. I venture to guess no one brought it up b/c he's not a big time star of the NHRA or a little independent guy that everyone loves and pulls for either. Plus he also doesnt have an outstanding/over the top/funny personality that is in the public view alot. He's kinda inbetween. Bob's a nice guy and I wish him the best though. I wouldnt have minded seeing him win, even though I was pulling for BB b/c of Eric.

I was rooting for BB but I was glad to see Bob in the finals. I hope he gets a win this year, so UPS will be happy and stay around awhile.
