Re: How about that Joe Hartley...
Hartley was impressive today. I'm not sure what his career best is but he ran really good today. Thats the best runs I have ever seen them make, especially back to back.

Great job for Joe and the entire Hartley family team. I was pulling for them, hopefully they get a couple of more chances at the Wally this year.

What a great race!!!!!
Wasn't it 2 years ago that Joe sheard the wheel studs off the line and got upside down there at Houston?
It was nice to see them make that many good runs in a row. Hopefully they can keep it going!

Re: How about that Joe Hartley...
well done joe, allen and team!
i wonder if joe's starting to book his oregon flight a little later on sundays.
i think two years at brainerd i was talking to his mother after they advanced
to the second round and i believe there had been some other delays
already that day - anyways she told me joe really scrambled to reach
his flight on time.
hope this final round is not their last.
there has been a few comments on other threads regarding leaving rules
alone for extended periods of time so the smaller/single car teams
can 'catch-up' so to speak - i believe the hartley's are a classic example.
they've got all the right parts, just not the same resources as other teams
when needing to develop new tune-ups / parts.

Re: How about that Joe Hartley...
Team Hartley has really stepped up their program! I remember 2-3 years ago they were a Safety Safari clinic, but last year I saw major improvement even more so at Pomona running their first 4.50.! Job well done guys!
